The Genesis of Alpha Higher Secondary School

The story of Alpha Higher Secondary School, Sheopur, M.P., is a story of vision, courage, perseverance, and faith in the power of education. An English-medium institution affiliated to the Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education, the school was born from the dream of Mr. M.G. Varghese, the Founder-Director, whose deep commitment to nurturing young minds laid the foundation for what would become a respected center of learning. From the very beginning, the school carried a clear purpose — to offer not just education, but an environment where children could grow in knowledge, character, confidence, and values. What began on 1st July 1999 with only 13 students was the beginning of a remarkable journey, one that steadily unfolded through hard work, determination, and an unwavering belief in a better future for children.

In the early years, building the school was not an easy task. It demanded patience, sacrifice, and the strength to face challenge after challenge. Yet, with unshakable determination and a spirit of perseverance, the Founder-Director transformed a vision into reality, overcoming obstacles that would have discouraged many others. Guided and supported by the Grace Alpha Society, the institution grew steadily, earning the trust of families and the affection of students. Over the years, the school flourished from a small beginning into a vibrant institution with thousands of hopes and dreams passing through its gates. By 2009, Alpha Higher Secondary School had moved to its new, state-of-the-art campus near By-pass Road, Shivnagar Colony, surrounded by a calm and green atmosphere ideal for learning. The shift marked a new chapter in its journey, allowing the school to provide a broader, more enriching educational experience rooted in academic excellence, discipline, and holistic development. Today, Alpha stands as a living example of what vision, dedication, and purpose can create — a place where every child is encouraged to discover their potential and move forward with confidence toward a meaningful future.
